Review for Kissed by an Angel

Finished: 9/27/09
Rating: 5 stars
Favorite Character: Tristan

Personally this book is one of my favorites. It has all in one; action, romance, greediness, mystery, and comedy. The theory about angels in this book was one that actually made sense and had nothing to do with religion which I think is great because people critize over little things like that. I felt sorry for Ivy, I mean losing your first love, moving in with your new step-dad and step-brother, somebody wanting you dead is a lot for one TEENAGER. Ivy had to put up through a lot and just so she could have about 40% of her friends still alive. The thing about this book though is that there are actual people like that the only difference is that usually end up in jail instead.

Kissed by an Angel

Title: Kissed by an Angel
Author: Elizabeth Chandler
Main Characters: Ivy, Tristan, & Gregory

Kissed by an Angel is about a young teenager that gets a boyfriend and he dies when they get into a car accident. Then after the death of her boyfriend mysterious things begin to happen to her. Her cat "supposedly" starts scratching on furniture although she's never done that; her step-brother's best friend dies and she starts getting the sense that someone wants her dead.
While that's happening her boyfriend becomes an angel, which in this book means that they have a special mission before they go to heaven. He finds this dead movie star and she starts teaching him the ups and downs of being an angel. The thing is is that unlike the movie star he actually wants to go to heaven so of course he has to find his mission. His mission is to protect his ex-girlfriend and her family from the murderer that caused his death. He starts learning about what really caused his death and he starts helping his love figure out who's behind it all.
